International Health Insurance & Direct Billing

Swiss Medical Services works with a wide range of international health insurance providers, allowing eligible patients to benefit from direct billing whenever possible.

Direct billing services are available at the clinic and are subject to the terms and conditions of your insurance policy. To ensure a smooth visit, we recommend contacting our patient services team before your appointment to verify eligibility and coverage.

For patients without Czech public health insurance or coverage through one of our partner international insurers, medical services can be provided on a self-pay basis according to our current price list.

Your First Visit

To help us prepare for your appointment, please bring:

  • Passport or identification document
  • Health insurance card (if applicable)
  • Previous medical records or reports, if relevant
  • List of current medications

Our team will guide you through the registration process and answer any questions you may have.

Direct Billing Requirements

To process direct billing requests, patients may be asked to provide:

  • Passport or government-issued identification
  • Insurance membership card
  • Policy number and insurance details
  • Claim or authorization reference number (if required)
  • Guarantee of Payment (GOP) when requested by the insurer or assistance company
