MUDr. Ivana Fialkovičová

MUDr. Ivana Fialkovičová is an experienced psychiatrist with more than a decade of clinical practice in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders in adults. She has worked across a wide range of healthcare settings, including psychiatric hospitals, crisis centers, outpatient clinics, and specialized consulting departments.

She graduated in General Medicine from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice and later obtained her certification in Psychiatry at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive experience in acute psychiatric care, crisis intervention, and the management of behavioral disorders, including work at Anti-Alcohol Detention Centers and central admissions.

MUDr. Fialkovičová has held key clinical roles at major psychiatric institutions, including Psychiatric Hospital Horní Beřkovice and Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice, where she provided both independent and team-based care, journal services, and crisis interventions. She also served as Head of the Aftercare Department at Horní Beřkovice.

Her consulting practice includes work at the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM), where she focused on transplant psychiatry — assessing patients with heart, liver, and kidney failure for transplant eligibility and treating mental health conditions related to organ transplantation.
